The Financial crisis
Bharath's dream of becoming
farmer is keeping him going even after losing his tiny yield from his
farm. At one point he decided to quit his job and continuing farming full time.
But the financial obligations made him to set back. He now
grows Banana. He now chose to help his parents with farming and finance. Inspired
by book "Richest man in Babylon" he now encourages his parents to set
aside 10 % of every income. Saving is very important for every individual and often
farmers tend to ignore. And setting aside 10% is a good rule since the remaining
90% is available to manage day to day expenses. All he has to do is build the
habit of saving money. He knows that even though the amount saved is tiny it will eventually grow. But the
problem in village areas is where to invest that
tiny amount. He is now looking opportunities to invest his parent’s little
money. Hope he will find best way to invest and uplift his parent’s
financial health.
